I practised in UK from 1995 until July 2019, when I returned to Buderim, on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, where I grew up.
My quest has always been to help others to achieve balance and a sense of wellbeing.
To that end, I work with you to understand your problems, whether mental, emotional or physical, and prescribe homeopathic medicine with the intent of stimulating your own natural repair mechanisms. Homeopathic remedies tend to like a reboot to a computer system, to reset the internal programme’.
People often report improvement within three appointments; they report being calmer, more positive, and reduced symptoms: “the things that used to bother me don’t bother me anymore.” as one teenage girl told me. Those with longer term, chronic or recurrent problems may need a longer course of treatment.
The aim of the initial consultation is not just to address your main problem, but to help to improve your immune system in general. The objective is that the presenting complaint then becomes less likely to recur, or occurs with reduced intensity, and on fewer occasions. I prescribe by understanding each person as an individual, how you react in stressful situations, what things you like or dislike, what upsets or moves you.

When I first began my homeopathy supervision with Penny Edwards, I was admittedly a little daunted—her reputation for being tough and demanding preceded her. “Sometimes I forget how bad it used to be and what our lives used to be like, but then I remember the time that we drove back from Switzerland over 2 days with G just wearing a pair of knickers because she simply refused to wear any of her clothes, or the time when she lay on the floor kicking the walls for 2 hours because I’d rolled her tortilla pancake the wrong way, or the time we couldn’t leave home because she refused to get dressed, or how she screamed if I held her hand the ‘wrong’ way as we walked out of school.
